Here is Caitlyn's Bridals. What a beautiful bride. Inside & out...she is beautiful & so much fun. We had a blast of fun during her bridals. I loved our shoot. I was able to bring out so many different expressions, and lighting was just wonderful. I truly enjoyed our bridal shoot. She is made for the camera. Here is just a few of the MANY shots that I took... I can keep loading, and loading and loading ... we took soooo many shots. And Caitlyn... being so breathe taken and photogenic it was difficult to end our shoot. Enjoy...

October is here... time has surely flown buy. My cameras are collecting dust... not good my friends. I need to renew my passion. And get motivated!!! I love photographing and find myself doing less and less these days. :( What happened to the 30-35 weddings a year? I'm slacking....

My website needs a photograph makeover... I have old images on my website. (not good..just not good...I need to crack the whip on myself... hee hee) I just viewed my images on my site.... Oh my! I need more hours in a day. oh may!

I think I am going to get out my nikons and take my boys this weekend and photograph this weekend.

I did have a wedding in August. What a beautiful couple. It was the perfect couple. Caitlyn & Luke tied the knot on August 20, 2011. I will upload some of there images when I get on my mac. I am on a pc at this moment. ( I know... a pc)
It was a great wedding. What a beautiful bride she was. She was so sweet too. I just loved her.
I photographed her fathers wedding 5 years ago. It was good seeing everyone again.

Gosh, I've been a real... slacker...... Ive not been updating my blog. A real big slacker. I am so sorry. I guess I've been so consumed with serving everyone with the best coffee on earth that I forgotten to update my clients with my blog. Serving coffee is fun! Today I am catching up on life & photography.

I've starting working at Starbucks about 90 days ago. I just switched to Preston & Warren in Frisco. I was working there to pick up hours and fell in love with the the staff, the environment, the fast past, the mgr, and just the vibe they have going there. That I decided that I wanted to transfer from my store at Preston & Springcreek. I am so excited! Like seriously over joyed, I wish I can tell you more. But, I'll leave it right here.

October is coming up quick, and Fall is one of my favorites seasons. I LOVE FALL WEDDINGS!

Well School has begun for my kids! And back to reality... We went to Destin and it was beautiful as always. It was a great trip. Before I left I had an opportunity to photograph a wedding for Sheila & David. They got married on August 9, 2010 at the Paradise Cove outdoors in the heat. They are such a relaxed couple. They wanted everything different.... I loved that about them. Sheila was such an amazing bride. I can see myself being her friend. I loved her personality, definitely contagious.

Here is one of many to come of my fav's from there wedding.

On this picture...I was laying down on the ground... It was so hot outside and the ground was even hotter. I had black clothes on and my arms were exposed. I needed to borrow the handkerchiefs from the groom and groomsman to lay down on the ground because it was extremely hot on the ground. It was Fun!

On June 12- Cassie & Blake tied the knot in Blue Ridge, Texas! And, Yes there is a City, Town, Parish in Texas call Blue Ridge! I went there! I think the population was 600?? I'll have to ask Cassie to confirm that. This is a young couple, so in love and so laid back. They are sweet as sugar and so nice! It was a fun wedding and there wedding party was great! Here is one of many. You will see many more to come.....

CREATING ALBUMS

One of the fun things of what I do as a photographer is creating albums. It's where you gather photographs and create an album pinning together an event that best suites that wonderful wedding that you planned and prepared for a year of more, for some it could have been 10 years.... who knows...

but most of all ......Is fun!

This is Hollie Hobbs. She is graduating from The Colony High School 2010. Hollie & I have known each other since she was 5 years old. Hollie is now 18. It's amazing to me how fast time flies by. She's grown so much into a young lady. She's matured spiritually & emotionally. It's been a blessing to have been and to still be apart of her life.

We have done her senior portraits, but we did some cap & gown photos on Memorial day. And that was fun. Being around her is always fun.

This past week has been an off week for me. It's just been a busy week. I had things thrown in my week that just weren't the average normal week for me. It was all good, but scrambled my week.

Today, I went to my dear friend Jamies wedding. Jamie is such an amazing girl. I've known her for about 10 years. And really got to know her the past 5 years. We share a common bond...Photography... our passion. It was awesome to see her marry her prince Darrien. I am so happy for her. She look amazing! She always looks amazing. You have to know JAMIE! She's beautiful and full of life!

At the wedding you should of seen Jamie & I trying to control the photography. I am trying to tell her "TREE LIGHT" and she was totally positioning her set up after the wedding for her formals. It was so funny. I finally had to go in with my husband because, I wanted to add my opinion on the lighting. And either of us were the hired man for the wedding. LOL!!!

I couldn't tell them apart! And they didn't make it easy for me until the ceremony started. It was a blast though! We had so much fun! They are great people! Great wedding!

In taking pictures, I've realized that I do take romantic poses of the couples which are my absolute favorites poses. What wedding photography doesn't? I have been called the kissing photographer practically at every wedding I photographed. Family and friends of the couple would make a point to say that to me. I find this very humorous. It's great because I know that they have been to my website. I do take more than kissing photos by the way... LOL!!! That's is so funny!!

As I was thumbing through Shawn & Kahla wedding photos.... I came accross this photo of Shawn & the guys. Shawn is a 24 year old man. He was a guy that was truly after God's heart. And had saved himself for that perfect woman that God had for him. And this was the day for him! Okay...I need to let ya know my website is going to be temporarily under construction. The site will be up, just things will be moved around . I need to make some changes on images and re-arranging some things. I ask that you be patient during this time. It shouldn't be that long, but then again... I'm attempting the changes. I really should have my friend Kim Hartley handle this since she is a makeup artist handle this. She could bring her fancy brushes and her makeup. She could put some fancy makeup on it and it would be all done by done. My website would be dazzled!

What a fun day! Took my boys to Bonkers in Lewisville... What a fun place for kids. My friend Jamie who was watching 3 girls went as well. The kids had a blast. I felt a little bonkers when I left. It's a huge jungle gym environment for kids and adults up to 104.

Okay... I had surgery a week ago on my knee. I am doing well. I am pretty advanced and blew the Dr away when he saw me. I am still not 100% but... I'm getting there.

We had a blast on our shoot in ellum. They where tons of fun.... As we where shooting, Sara noticed a foot in a box. This box was a narrow box. I freaked, and thought, "is he dead", should we try to wake him and then thought we need to all 911. Well, I decided to shoot sara & Ricky and then we just kept checking on the sleeping person in a box and saw that it had moved, so whew!! He was alive... On the box it said "Handle with care".

Well this is Shelly...and her dynamic boys! I've known Shelly for over 10 years. Talk about a woman that lives upright & boldly. I appreciate her so much. She is an amazing person, mother, friend and wife. I commend her... she has 3 boys and yeah, I thought I had it tough with two. I look at her with her boys and think... what an amazing mom! I love Shelly! What an awesome example to follow. One thing about Shelly...she's real, honest, and loves God with all her heart. She doesn't talk the talk, she walks the walk. I can't believe christmas is right around the corner..... Well, this year.... I'm a little bit short for christmas gifts. But, that's okay. We all go through seasons in our life. And guess what? I'm in one right now!!! But, I realize when we go through the seasons of life, it is FAR more important as to how we react during this season. We can shake our fist and become upset, angry, resentful, bitter or we can look at the blessings we have in our lives.

So, rejoice....be thankful. Look at the good things, positive things in life... My favorite expression..... IT"S ALL GOOD!!!!

What a weekend! I've been really busy this weekend. I met a bride & mom on Saturday morning. They where so nice!!!! They decided to have me photograph Alysa wedding in April... How exciting.... I love weddings..... Today I met a couple and we talked for about 2 hours.... They where such an awesome couple..... And we had TONS in common.
I just love meeting people.... and talking about weddings...... LOVE IT!

Aaron learned how to ride his bike with out training wheels! Thanks to dad who helped him.... GO AARON!!!!! His bike is being passed down and he is getting a "big boy" bike for Christmas!!!

In a few days, my youngest child will be 5. We had a blast at the park yesterday.... A little cold, but fun. We play Pirates of the Carribean, And yes I'm Elizabeth Swann. He is Jack Sparrow/Will Turner.

You know what!!! We are all human. We all mess up, we all have feelings, we all cry, get mad, use the restroom(gross I know-but true), throw fits, we are just HUMAN. I love this picture of my youngest son. He just had a bad day! We all have them. The most important thing is to remember....it's how you react & respond is far more important. Don't beat yourself up! We are human. If we where perfect, we wouldn't be on this earth. Because on this earth are people who are just as inperfect as you & me. Anyway, the good side.... We are human!

After a day at the shop, These ladies are so busy!!!!

I did my first all day Animal shoot this month. A good friend of mine... I just love her!!! Her name is Kat. She has a business in Flowermound "Suds N Scissors". ( a animal grooming place) You can visit her at www.sudnscissor.biz

She also has a rescue team that rescue people when lost and whatever else they need to rescue. Check out what Kat's doing at www.doggonedetectives.com ... Now those that know me know Judy likes the CSI & Detective stuff. I honestly think I should have been a detective or CSI agent. Actually, those that know me... know I'm type A personality so what I really meant was to be the owner, top dog....something like that! LOL! I just am amazed when Kat tells me the stories about the dogs( I get all into it) They are just so smart!!!

Hey, Hey.... I'm still in Hot Springs. We have been pretty relaxed the past 2 days. (the rain helped) I finally feel normal. I think with all the cough medicine the past week it finally is all out of my system. I still have the cough, but not so bad. Have you ever felt disoriented? Man, that's how I felt. My husband and I laughed when I told him. He said, "he would ask the waiter, can you help me get my wife in the parking lot" as I wander walking around. LOL!

Ok....... After a rough week of being wrapped up in a blanket with a robe on, and totally unmobile. Saturday was the first day that I can function. And it wasn't by choice. Still barking like a seal(and it hurts)... It's so hot in Texas, and having a fever wrapped up in a blanket is just so weird to me. I had a wedding on Saturday and immediately after that on the road to Hot Springs for our final Summer vacation. Yea, we take alot of vacations. I love them.... I get to sneak away with my family ........ I love my family!!!!!
