I realize that many photographers don't like shooting weddings. I do. I come to realize over the years that it's a sport to me.

A photographer once said "Weddings are a lot like sporting events-both are about anticpation and reaction. This is so true! If someone give a toast...there is a reaction. If someone tells a joke...there's a reaction. When the couple is at the altar....there's a reaction. I often look for reaction in people.

I have heard from many clients & there families "I didn't even notice the photographer was even there". I really focus on your day, telling your story when I shoot a wedding. It's not about me & my camera. It's about you & the awesome event of marriage!
Something funny....

Today I sent my add that is going in the Wedding And Party Guide. And I spelled Bride's-Gride's.

And this is how it went..

Jill:Hey sweetie! Did you know it says 10% off the Gride's dream package. Is it supposed to be Bride's?

Me:Yes it's Gride's. It is a new term for bride's..

hahahaa! Just kidding. Good catch my friend. Do I need to re-submit it?

Jill:Okay... I found it... it relates to griding, which is shrieking and cutting into. They call the bride that because she barks orders. They call the groom the broom because all he does is "sweep the bride off of her feet". Nice....
