I am currently in Illionis. We are in my husbands old stomping ground. It's been a time of rest for us. Lord knows we need it. This the first time we have taken our dog Joy with us on vacation. She is loving it!!! She loves the walks and just to have us with her rather than putting her in a kennel where she would miss us all week long.

It's very pretty here. Even though alot of the trees have fallen.....TONS of leaves are everywhere. But, you can still see the beautiful colors on those that are still standing. I will upload some images soon. I also seen the first church my husband attended and the first house he lived in. That was pretty interesting.

They have some amazingly old beautiful churches with tons of stain glass. Beautiful!!!!
